Workshop aimed at helping graduate students target their academic writing to the needs and expectations of scholarly social science journals. Dr. Arditti is a visiting scholar from Virgina Tech University and also the Editor-in-Chief of the scholarly journal, Family Relations. In addition to Family Relations, she also has served on the editorial boards for several other prominent social science journals including: Journal of Divorce and Remarriage, Marriage and Family Review, The Open Law Journal, International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences, and Sex Roles.

Jamie A. Lee, award-winning documentary filmmaker, presents the launch of this groundbreaking Arizona Archive. The purpose of the Arizona LGBT Storytelling Project: Community Histories is to record and commemorate the voices, images, memories, and life stories of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people living in the state of Arizona. Our goal is to develop the historical record of the diverse LGBT individuals and communities here in Arizona, capure memories of historical moments and movements; reveal our struggles, triumphs, and beliefs; as well as share our experiences and knowledges with future generations.
